Jordan Liberty
Jordan Liberty was born the son of two artists in small-town northern Ohio. He has a diverse background in drawing and painting, dance, graphic art, and music production and arrangement. As a seasoned artist, he pursued further opportunities in Philadelphia in 2002.
Jordan has done makeup for runway, film, event, retail, and (primarily) editorial pieces, and he has a firm understanding of what real women want from their makeup. It is this understanding that led to the creation of Give Good Face, his upcoming book that deconstructs his own portfolio – recipe style.
The book, expected to be available for international sale later this year, has been a long-winded journey. As of April 2010, Jordan and Jonny (Jonathan Sorber, fashion photographer) have spent more than 700 hours in the studio shooting visuals for the book. From mild to wild, they have combined their efforts towards a singular vision.
