HD Video Tutorial: Runway Gothic

HD Video Tutorial: Runway Gothic

This “glam goth” look is all about contrast. Heavy black/purple lips offset flawless skin and clean lines to create a gothic look that doesn’t look cliche. For those of you that want a softer, more wearable look, check out the lip liner alternative. For those of you looking for a haute couture punch, check out the alternate steps along the way!

Please note that this video is marked INTERMEDIATE: Requires a comfortable level of application skill (or a little practice).

Products used on the model:

Cinema Secrets Foundation
Smashbox Camera Ready Concealer
Urban Decay “Score” Cream Blush (lighter shade)
Urban Decay “Greedy” Cream Blush (darker shade)
For a more dramatic look, use “Score” cream blush with a light contour in the hollows of the cheekbones (Smashbox Contour Palette).
Smashbox PhotoSet Finishing Powder SPF15
Smashbox PhotoFinish Lid Primer
Smashbox “Bliss” Eyeshadow

Smashbox “Artificial Light” Luminizing Powder (inner corners)
Smashbox “Jet Black” Limitless Liquid Liner Pen
Smashbox Hyperlash Mascara

Ardell #120 False Eyelashes with Dark DUO Adhesive
Bobbi Brown Powder Eyebrow/Shadow

For a more dramatic look, opt for the bleached brow look. This can be achieved with flesh tone MAC paints brushed into the brows, or with bleach and a licensed professional.
Smashbox “Onyx” Limitless Waterproof Liner (as lip liner)

For a slightly less dramatic look, use MAC’s “Velvetella” Lip Liner, it’s a delicious vampy plum!
Make Up For Ever #50 Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick
Make Up For Ever #15 Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick
For a more dramatic look, fill the lips with #50 Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick and top with OCC’s Lip Tar (“Tarred”). Jet black lips? Oh yes!

I hope you all enjoyed – can’t wait to bring you the next tutorial!!!
